Imagine that your group is entering a competition to lead the Green Club in your school. You are asked the question: What would you do to reduce pollution in our country if you were the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment?
You are required to create a collage to show what you would do, and give a presentation about it.

(Tưởng tượng rằng nhóm em đang tham gia một cuộc thi với câu lạc bộ Xanh trong trường em. Em được hỏi câu hỏi: Em sẽ làm gì để giảm ô nhiễm trong nước em nếu em làm một Bộ trưởng Tài nguyên Thiên nhiên và Môi trường?

Em được yêu cầu để tạo ra hình dán thể hiện điều em sẽ làm và đưa ra một bài thuyết trình về nó.)

Hướng dẫn làm bài:

If I were the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, the first thing I would do is to launch a nationwide campaign of conserving energy: turning off lights, computers, and electric appliances when not in use; using energy efficient light bulbs and appliances. I would encourage using public transports instead of using private cars, and I myself would do it first. Besides, I would encourage every family, school, organization or association to carry out the THREE-R movement: REUSE, REDUCE, RECYCLE.

Moreover, I would fine the company which dump industrial waste without procession. I would fine people who do bad things to environment: drop litter, deforestation, and dump waste into rivers... I would build the waste procession system and build many parks everywhere. I would hold many meaningful activities for environment such as: growing trees, taking care of public parks, protect the wildlife and precious plants.

Nếu tôi là Bộ trưởng Bộ Tài nguyên và Môi trường, việc đầu tiên tôi sẽ làm là phát động chiến dịch toàn quốc tiết kiệm năng lượng: tắt bớt đèn, máy tính và thiết bị điện khi không dùng; sử dụng đèn và thiết bị điện tiết kiệm năng lượng. Tôi sẽ khuyến khích sử dụng phương tiện công cộng thay vì dùng xe hơi riêng và tôi sẽ làm gương trước. Bên cạnh đó tôi sẽ khuyến khích mọi gia đình, trường học, tổ chức và đoàn thế thực hiện 3-R: Tái sử dụng - Giảm bớt - Tái chế.

Hơn thế, tôi sẽ phạt nặng những công ty thải chất thải ra môi trường mà chưa xử lý. Tôi sẽ phạt những người mà làm những điều gây hại cho môi trường: xả rác, phá rừng, thải chất thải xuống sông... Tôi sẽ xây dựng hệ thống xử lý chất thải và xảy thật nhiều công viên ở khắp mọi nơi. Tôi sẽ tổ chức những hoạt động ý nghĩa về môi trường như: trồng cây, chăm sóc công viên, bảo vệ động vật hoang dã và cây quý hiếm...
