Your group will have to prepare a presentation for them in which you will describe some aspects of Vietnamese culture (e.g. The rituals for certain festivals, table manners, typical characteristics of the Vietnamese people...) and some Dos and Don'ts to help them avoid embarrassment during their stay in Viet Nam

The culture of Vietnam is one of the oldest in Southeast Asia. Some elements generally considered to be characteristic of Vietnamese culture including ancestor veneration, respect for community and family values, handicrafts and manual labour, and devotion to study. Important symbols presenting Vietnamese culture include dragons, turtles, lotuses and bamboo.

Some tips to avoid embarrassing: Don’t be the first to someone's house on the first day of the Tet holiday unless you are invited. Remember to invite other people to share the meals with you before you start eating it.

Văn hóa Việt Nam là một trong những nền văn hóa lâu đời ở Đông Nam Á. Vài yếu tố chung được xem như là những đặc tính của văn hóa Việt Nam bao gồm sự tôn kính, tôn trọng giá trị cộng đồng và giá trị gia đình, lao động chân tay và thủ công và sự thành tâm cho việc học tập. Những biểu tượng quan trọng thể hiện ở văn hóa Việt nam bao gồm rồng, rùa, hoa sen và tre.
