Today more and more tourists are visiting places where conditions are difficult (mẫu 1)

Recently, it has been observed that there is a surge among tourists visiting isolated natural regions with harsh weather conditions. However, in my perspective, it has more disadvantages because it may have a harmful impact on people. In the forthcoming paragraphs, I shall discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the issue and explain why I believe in the latter.

On the one hand, people have become more adventurous nowadays. Tourists are driven by their desire to achieve something and experience an adrenaline rush during the expeditions. Despite being aware of the harsh weather conditions in places like the Sahara Desert and Mt. Everest, they desire exhilarating experiences. The journeys to these destinations allow tourists to partake in adventurous and thrilling activities. As these places test people’s physical and mental stamina, overcoming these difficulties helps people gain confidence. Also, tourists are now becoming bored of visiting the common cities, mountains and beaches. Besides that, these places offer lasting memories and priceless experiences to tourists.

On the other hand, the most significant downside is that travelling to difficult natural regions might be perilous if travellers are not adequately equipped. The temperature in these areas is frequently below zero degrees or extremely high, putting people’s health at risk. For example, many people have died due to extreme weather conditions while making the trek to Mt. Everest. Due to global warming, icebergs in places like Antarctica are melting, releasing harmful gases and substances.

To summarise, while exploring areas with difficult conditions may entice some people, I feel the drawbacks of people being able to go to these areas outweigh the benefits since it puts people’s lives in jeopardy.

Nowadays it seems to be boring for people to go to travel to some locations where we used to go, e.g. Japan or Europe. People would like to have some exciting experiences on their trip, so they choose places like the Sahara Desert or places that ordinary people cannot even name. These places have tough conditions. Therefore, there must be some good things and bad things if we travel to these places.

From an optimistic viewpoint, people would like to travel to these extraordinary places to experience something different, usually, the things they see or try in these locations are unique; they cannot find them in cities with tall buildings. For example, the light in the Antarctic regions. People who have seen them all say it is a once in a lifetime experience and they will not forget it till they die. And indeed, seeing these special sceneries is really unforgettable and no other places in the world have them. Besides sceneries, people can also experience some very different lifestyles and cultures which they have never seen if they live in a city.

However, there is also a bad side if people travel to these places. As the conditions are tough in these areas, they may experience extreme temperatures. People who are used to a city lifestyle may not know how to deal with them. In some severe cases, people may need immediate rescue, but as these areas are usually not ordinary residential areas, it is not easy for any emergency services to access them. It is very difficult to get help from other people as there is no one around.

In conclusion, it is necessary for people to understand the risks before they visit these places, and after thorough consideration, if they still want to go, they have to make sure they get very well-prepared and go at their own risk.

Tourism has expanded its horizon, and today, adventurous tourists are increasingly seeking places where the conditions are challenging, such as arctic regions, tropical rainforests, or high-altitude mountainous regions. The benefits and disadvantages for such tourists are numerous and complex.

On the one hand, the main benefit for tourists visiting such difficult places is the unique experience they offer. It is an opportunity for them to explore the extreme wilderness, observe rare wildlife, and challenge themselves physically and mentally. For example, tourists who visit the arctic regions, such as Greenland or the North Pole, have the opportunity to witness the majestic aurora borealis and explore icebergs, glaciers and frozen landscapes. Similarly, tourists who venture into the dense tropical rainforests, such as the Amazon, can experience a rich diversity of flora and fauna, and learn about indigenous cultures. Such experiences can be life-changing and unforgettable.

On the other hand, there are also numerous disadvantages to visiting such places. The harsh climate, rough terrain, and lack of basic amenities can pose serious risks to tourists. For example, tourists visiting high-altitude mountainous regions, such as the Himalayas, can face the risk of altitude sickness, frostbite, or hypothermia. In addition, the lack of proper infrastructure, medical facilities, and communication networks can leave tourists vulnerable in case of emergencies.

In conclusion, visiting challenging places can provide unique and unforgettable experiences, but it can also be risky and have negative impacts. It is important for tourists to be well-prepared and informed before visiting such places, and for governments to regulate and manage tourism activities in these regions to ensure the safety of tourists and the sustainability of the environment and local communities.

Nowadays, an increasing number of travellers are visiting the dreadful areas like the Sahara Desert or the Antarctic regions. Though the large groups of penguins and sun shining vast open sandy lands attract the adventure loving tourists in these places, they are not free from some medical and commuter convenience issues.

Brush-tailed penguins wadding across the ice in Antarctica and dunes with a celestial glow in the deserts are the key factors that attract people to visit these unlike places. Whale watching on an epic scale is one of the most rewarding experiences of travelling Antarctica which people find too difficult to ignore. Also, as penguins are usually quite comfortable in human presence, tourists can avail indelible memories watching them diving off icebergs, swimming and playing around. When it comes to a desert, the Sahara is the best example of this kind, few places on Earth can match its splendour. The stars reflecting on the desert rocks create an incredibly coloured atmosphere that is simply parallel to none. Its dunes are so soft that sandboarders around the world are mad to be here.

However, traveling to such areas is not free from danger and inconvenience. Extremely cold weather and heavy fog in Antarctica can cause serious health issues with the bare body parts like hands, face and feet. Frostnip is the most common disease that can develop into spots and can create a strong burning sensation. If they are not treated in time, the spots grow into black areas, and convert into septicaemia (blood-poisoning). Meanwhile, inconvenience can be another downside as travellers can find it hard to access any of the public transportation such as railways, buses, or taxis alike in the vast open sandy land. Tourists in adverse conditions always need to be well-prepared so that they can only reach any destination mainly by walking, which may bring lots of physical challenges and mental fatigue.

In conclusion, deserts with soft, sandy, vast land under the open sky, and icy regions with rare snow animals like penguins present some incredible tourist attractions. However, these regions pose some health and safety concerns as they are unlike other places on Earth.

In recent times, an increasing number of adventurers are setting their sights on destinations known for their challenging conditions, such as the vast expanse of the Sahara Desert or the icy wilderness of the Antarctic. This trend raises questions about the benefits and drawbacks for those intrepid enough to explore these environments. This essay will delve into the advantages of such travels, including the enrichment of personal experience and contribution to local economies, as well as the potential downsides, namely environmental impact and safety risks.

The allure of visiting these remote locations lies not just in the beauty and uniqueness of the landscapes but also in the profound personal growth and understanding they offer. Tourists often find that overcoming the physical and mental challenges posed by these harsh environments leads to a significant sense of accomplishment and self-discovery. Additionally, these expeditions can bring much-needed economic benefits to local communities. By engaging with small-scale tourism services, visitors can contribute to the sustainability of these areas, supporting conservation efforts and creating jobs in regions where opportunities may be limited.

However, the disadvantages of tourism in such extreme conditions cannot be overlooked. The environmental footprint of travel to these pristine locations is a growing concern. The delicate ecosystems of the Sahara and Antarctic are vulnerable to disturbance from increased human activity, potentially leading to irreversible damage. Furthermore, the safety risks associated with these adventures are considerable. The extreme weather conditions, potential for getting lost, and lack of immediate medical services present significant challenges and dangers to tourists, often requiring costly rescue operations.

In conclusion, the allure of venturing into the Sahara or Antarctic is compelling, yet it necessitates a balance between personal gain and the safeguarding of these fragile environments. Responsible tourism, mindful of environmental and safety impacts, is essential. Such travels promise adventure and self-discovery, but they also require a deep commitment to conservation and personal responsibility.

Over the last few years, there has been a significant increase in the number of people travelling to inhabitable or hostile places. Most of them are driven by a passion to achieve something that few others have been able to achieve. They want to experience the adrenalin rush that such expeditions bring on.

Travelling to difficult places has both advantages and disadvantages. One of the biggest benefits of undertaking difficult journeys is that they improve one’s confidence in one’s abilities. While the journey can be physically and mentally exhausting, the exhilaration that one experiences upon its successful completion is not something that can be described in mere words. It is this need to test one’s limits that propelled sailors like Magellan and Columbus to sail around the world and discover unknown lands. It is this need to conquer the unknown that encourages people to climb mountains. And there are many takers for this trend. Adventure tourism is growing by leaps and bounds. People are aware of the risks, yet they want to experience the thrill. So, they set out on difficult journeys.

On the flip side, difficult journeys can be extremely dangerous. Things can go against our plans. Lots of travellers have died while trekking difficult mountains or rafting in turbulent rivers. There are also many adventure travellers who sustain serious injuries that leave them immobile for the rest of their lives. Another drawback of such journeys is that if the travellers go missing or find themselves in trouble, the governments may have to launch costly rescue operations.

To conclude, difficult journeys are extremely thrilling. They are equally dangerous; yet many people undertake them because they want to test their limits and conquer the unknown.

In recent years, an increasing number of adventurers are drawn to the allure of extreme destinations like the Sahara Desert and the Antarctic, pushing the boundaries of traditional tourism. These locales, with their challenging conditions, offer unique experiences but also present considerable challenges. The essence of this essay is to explore both the advantages and disadvantages of visiting such harsh environments, highlighting the transformative experiences alongside the potential risks involved.

One of the most compelling advantages of venturing into these extreme environments is the unparalleled opportunity for personal growth and the acquisition of a deeper appreciation for the planet's diverse ecosystems. For instance, traversing the vast expanses of the Sahara or enduring the icy solitude of the Antarctic allows individuals to experience nature's majesty in its most unadulterated form. These journeys often lead to profound reflections on human resilience and our place within the natural world, fostering a sense of stewardship for these delicate ecosystems. Furthermore, such trips can challenge one's physical and mental limits, offering a unique sense of accomplishment upon overcoming these hurdles.

However, the allure of these destinations is not without its drawbacks. The very conditions that make these places captivating also pose significant risks to visitors. The extreme climates of the Sahara and Antarctic can lead to serious health issues, including dehydration and hypothermia, if not properly prepared. Moreover, the environmental impact of tourism in such fragile environments cannot be overlooked. The increasing footfall in these remote areas threatens their pristine nature, potentially causing irreversible damage to habitats and wildlife. This raises ethical questions about the sustainability of such tourism and the responsibility of tourists and tour operators to minimize their environmental footprint.

In conclusion, the allure of visiting places like the Sahara or Antarctic must be balanced with awareness of potential risks and ethical impacts. It's crucial to approach these adventures with respect for nature, ensuring their preservation for future generations. The responsibility for maintaining this balance rests with each traveler, underscoring the importance of conscientious exploration.

In modern times, adventure tourism is becoming increasingly popular. I believe that participating in related activities can be a great way to unwind and learn about global ecosystems. However, visitors may be at risk of becoming seriously ill when facing harsh environments or wildlife attacks.

On the one hand, venturing into the wild is an excellent way to relax. It allows people to experience the most striking features that nature has to offer, from the 360° horizons of the Sahara Desert to the ginormous icebergs across Antarctica. Immersed in beautiful environments as such, visitors are granted a chance to forget about the problems they face at home and work. Additionally, ecotourism can also be educational. For example, when traveling in the Antarctic, tourists can learn about native wildlife and how climate change has been impacting this white continent. This can help them become more environmentally aware.

However, there are certain risks to exploring the wilderness. Firstly, visitors may become extremely ill in tough environments. For example, they may be unable to withstand the extreme heat of a desert and develop symptoms of dehydration. Similarly, adventure travel exposes tourists to unpredictable attacks by wild animals like seals in Antarctic regions. Because many visitors have no previous experience handling wild animals, they may be seriously injured and even lose their lives due to a dangerous encounter.

In conclusion, visiting remote, wild areas of the world can help people reduce stress and become more environmentally conscious, but only if the risks such as harsh environments and wildlife attacks are handled safely.

People interested in travel are increasingly attracted to visiting remote destinations with extreme temperatures, such as deserts, high mountain ranges and polar regions. This essay will consider two main benefits of visiting these areas to travellers, as well as its dangers.

One of the obvious benefits of visiting extreme places is the combined feelings of achievement and adventure it fosters. Completing a successful trip to a harsh destination helps people believe that they can achieve anything; if they can survive extreme heat and danger, then navigating everyday life suddenly seems much easier. People also get to imagine themselves as intrepid explorers, roaming across sand dunes and glaciers, akin to Lawrence of Arabia or Scott of the Antarctic, and again, this can help them develop a great sense of personal power.

Another advantage is the stunning natural beauty of these regions. Even though they may have harsh climates, they can be staggeringly beautiful, with 360-degree views, untouched by civilization, stretching to the horizon, and awe-inspiring night skies. The natural wildlife of these destinations adds to this sense of beauty, making them the perfect place for photography enthusiasts.

But there are significant dangers too. While the wildlife just mentioned can be amazing, they can be dangerous too. Desert-dwelling snakes and scorpions can kill, as can polar bears in the Arctic. And the extreme, remote conditions mean that there is little margin for error: if you have an accident, the nearest hospital could be days away and you are often totally reliant on a limited stock of food and water. It’s also very easy to get lost in these landscapes since there may be few landmarks to help you orient yourself. In short, you are highly dependent on yourself and your companions for survival.

To summarise, travel to extreme places can bring a huge sense of accomplishment to those who are brave enough to visit them, along with a spirit of adventure you rarely get in everyday life and exposure to breathtaking natural beauty. But the clear dangers of such destinations mean that you need to be alert and well-prepared at all times.

In recent years, there has been a growing trend of tourists visiting extreme destinations, such as Mount Everest, the Sahara Desert or the Antarctic. This essay will discuss the advantages and drawbacks for tourists who choose to visit such places.

There are numerous benefits to visiting extreme destinations for travellers. Firstly, it allows tourists to experience and appreciate the natural beauty and unique features of these locations. For example, the Sahara Desert offers an opportunity to witness stunning sunsets and the natural oasis while the Antarctic offers a chance to witness beautiful wildlife such as penguins and seals. Secondly, visiting such destinations can be a great challenge and can help to build resilience and confidence in tourists. It requires physical and mental stamina to adapt to extreme weather conditions and unfamiliar environments. This sense of accomplishment can be a great source of personal satisfaction and growth for tourists.

On the other hand, there are also several disadvantages associated with visiting such harsh destinations. Firstly, it can be dangerous for tourists if they are not adequately prepared or if they do not take proper precautions. For instance, dehydration is a common problem for tourists who visit the Sahara Desert, and frostbite is a risk for those who travel to the Antarctic. Secondly, the cost of travelling to these destinations can be prohibitive for many tourists, making it an option only for those who can afford it.

In conclusion, visiting extreme destinations can have both benefits and disadvantages for tourists. While it offers an opportunity to witness unique natural beauty and can help to build resilience and confidence, it can also be dangerous and expensive. It is important that tourists are adequately prepared and take proper precautions when visiting such places to ensure their safety and to fully enjoy the experience.
