1. Work in groups of four to six. Discuss and decide on your ideal city of the future. You can expand the ideas your brainstormed in the COMMUNICATION section. Include the following points.

(Làm việc theo nhóm 4-6 em. Thảo luận và quyết định về một thành phố lý tưởng trong tương lai. Em có thể mở rộng ý tưởng mà em đã nghĩ đến trong phần COMMUNICATION. Hãy đề cập đến những vấn đề sau:)

– The city’s name
– Geographical features: location, area, population, weather conditions
– Infrastructure: means of transport, environmental conditions, energy sources, treatment of waste
– People’s life and work: education, health care, working hours

Take notes of your group’s ideas and think about how to organise them. Then design a poster to promote your ideal city. Add some pictures to illustrate it. You can use the example below or your own ideas.

Hi everyone, welcome to our dream city. It's located in the western Vietnam and has an area of 50 square kilometres. There are 3 million people here. The main transports are green cars and motorbikes. Besides, the modern public transport system is also developed to avoid traffic jams. We utilize modern waste treatment so that the air is not polluted. We also grow a lot of trees, which results in a fresh atmosphere around the city. The educational system is supported by high technology, robot teacher, and distance learning is popular among students. Citizens here can enjoy the best health care services in the world and they need to work only 7 hours a day.
