Quy định về xuất bản phẩm dành cho trẻ em
Điều 12. Yêu cầu về thông tin ghi trên xuất bản phẩm dành cho trẻ em

1. Xuất bản phẩm dành cho trẻ em (trừ sách giáo khoa) phải ghi rõ đối tượng phục vụ tại bìa 4 và trang tên sách theo các lứa tuổi sau:

a) Dành cho trẻ em dưới 06 tuổi;

b) Dành cho trẻ em từ 06 tuổi đến dưới 11 tuổi;

c) Dành cho trẻ em từ 11 tuổi đến dưới 16 tuổi;

d) Trường hợp xuất bản phẩm dành cho trẻ em có cách phân loại độ tuổi khác với quy định tại các điểm a, b và c khoản này thì phải ghi rõ độ tuổi cụ thể.

2. Xuất bản phẩm dành cho trẻ em xuất bản tại Việt Nam bằng tiếng nước ngoài hoặc song ngữ phải ghi tên xuất bản phẩm và các thông tin theo quy định tại khoản 1 Điều này bằng tiếng Việt.

Điều 13. Yêu cầu về nội dung của xuất bản phẩm dành cho trẻ em của tác giả trong nước

Xuất bản phẩm dành cho trẻ em của tác giả trong nước, ngoài việc tuân thủ các quy định pháp luật về xuất bản, phải đảm bảo các yêu cầu sau:

1. Chính xác về lịch sử, chủ quyền, toàn vẹn lãnh thổ;

2. Đề cao tinh thần yêu nước, tự hào dân tộc;

3. Bồi dưỡng tâm hồn, nhân cách cao đẹp, thể chất lành mạnh;

4. Phù hợp thuần phong, mỹ tục Việt Nam;

5. Phù hợp với mức độ trưởng thành, nhu cầu, năng lực của trẻ em.

Điều 14. Xuất bản phẩm dành cho trẻ em của tác giả nước ngoài

Xuất bản phẩm dành cho trẻ em của tác giả nước ngoài khi được dịch và xuất bản tại Việt Nam hoặc được nhập khẩu và phát hành tại Việt Nam, ngoài việc tuân thủ pháp luật Việt Nam về xuất bản, phải đảm bảo nội dung, hình ảnh phù hợp thuần phong, mỹ tục, mức độ trưởng thành, nhu cầu, năng lực của trẻ em và điều kiện chính trị, văn hóa, xã hội Việt Nam.

Chapter IV

PUBLICATIONS INTENDED FOR CHILDREN

Article 12. Requirements for contents in publications intended for children

1. Publications intended for children (excluding textbooks) are required to clarify readers at page 4 and page with the book name according to the following ages:

a) suitable for children aged under 6;

b) suitable for children aged from 6 to under 11;

c) suitable for children aged from 11 to under 16;

d) If the publication intended for children has classification of ages different from that prescribed in Points a, b, and c of this Clause, the specific ages shall be specified.

2. Publications intended for children published in Vietnam by foreign languages or bilingual, publications’ name and information prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article shall be published in Vietnamese.

Article 13. Requirements for contents of publications intended for children written by Vietnamese writers

Publications intended for children written by Vietnamese writers are required to both comply with regulation on publishing and meet the following requirements:

1. Accuracy of history, sovereignty, and territorial integrity;

2. Promotion of the patriotism, national pride;

3. Nourishing the soul, beautiful dignity, healthy body;

4. In conformity with fine customs of Vietnam;

5. In conformity with the level of maturity, needs, and capacity of children.

Article 14. Requirements for contents of publications intended for children written by foreign writers

Publications intended for children written by foreign authors, which are translated and published in Vietnam or imported and distributed in Vietnam, apart from complying with the laws of Vietnam on publishing, must meet requirements pertaining to contents, images is suitable for fine habits, customs, maturity levels, needs and abilities of children and the political, cultural and social conditions of Vietnam.
