RESOLUTION

ON PROLONGING THE USE DURATION OF LAND FOR CULTIVATION OF ANNUAL CROPS, AQUACULTURE OR SALT-MAKING OF HOUSEHOLDS AND INDIVIDUALS

THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the 1992 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which was amended and supplemented a number of Articles under the Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10;

Pursuant to Land Law No. 13/2013/QH11;

Pursuant to the Government’s Report No. 243/ TTr-CP dated June 19, 2013; at the proposal of the National Assembly Standing Committee,

RESOLVES:

Article 1. Upon the expiry of the land use duration, the State would not adjust land for cultivation of annual crops, aquaculture or salt-making which has been assigned to households and individuals according to the Land Law No. 13/2003/QH11; households and individuals directly engaged in agricultural production, aquaculture or salt-making may continue to use the land until the Land Law (amended) is promulgated and takes effect. Then, the duration for use of land for cultivation of annual crops, aquaculture or salt-making of households and individuals will comply with the Land Law (amended).

Article 2.

1. This Resolution takes effect on October 01, 2013.

2. The Government shall guide implementation of this Resolution.

This Resolution was adopted by the XlII^th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, at its 5th session, on June 21, 2013.
